Metaplane

Metaplane (now part of Datadog following a 2025 acquisition) is a data observability platform that uses machine learning to detect anomalies, broken pipelines, and silent data quality issues across cloud data warehouses and BI tools. It provides column-level lineage, automated alerting, and integrations with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, dbt, Looker, and Tableau. The platform targets data and analytics engineering teams who need to catch data incidents before they surface in dashboards.
