What is ToolAtlas?

ToolAtlas is a curated directory of AI tools for software developers, DevOps engineers, and security teams. We track tools across four verticals — DevOps, AI agents, Security, and APIs — and refresh the directory weekly via an automated discovery pipeline backed by Claude Code and Brave Search.

Curation policy

Every tool in the directory meets these criteria:

Meaningfully uses AI or ML — not just a product that mentions AI in marketing copy
Primarily targets software practitioners — developers, DevOps engineers, or security engineers
Has a live, accessible website — we run weekly link health checks
Has been publicly available for at least 30 days
Is actively maintained — OSS tools must have a release or commit in the past 12 months

Tools that fail any criterion are rejected during the weekly QA pass.

How often is it updated?

Every Monday, an automated pipeline discovers new tool candidates in the week’s rotation subcategory, enriches them with accurate pricing and descriptions, and runs quality checks. A human reviewer then approves the additions before they go live. This means the directory is reviewed at least weekly.

Affiliate disclosure

Some tool pages include tracked affiliate links. When ToolAtlas earns a commission via a link on this site, the page displays a disclosure note near the link and the link carries rel="noopener sponsored" per Google’s guidelines.

Featured listings are clearly marked “Sponsored” and do not influence editorial coverage of a tool.
